YATEK's Annual Plenary Session Explores Industry Risks and Opportunities
Over a hundred attendees and guests converged at the Plenary Session 'The Universe of Risks and Opportunities of YATEK' in Yakutsk on December 15. The event, held annually to boost efficiency and share experiences, saw key figures from PAO 'YATEK' and beyond discussing crucial topics in the industry.
Andrei Korobov, General Director of PAO 'YATEK', and Anastasia Kharitonova, advisor to the general director, moderated the session. Korobov highlighted the importance of these gatherings for the company's growth. Kirill Bychkov, Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), stressed the significance of risk identification and management in today's economic climate.
Alexey Zelențov, Director of Geology, Geophysics, and Field Development, presented new exploration opportunities for old oil and gas basins. Edward Guria, Commercial Director of 'Almaz Group', focused on risk mitigation and strategy development. Alexey Voronțov, Deputy General Director for Gas Production and Processing, shared insights into the company's investment projects. Andrey Sgibnev, Director of Internal Audit, presented personal practices for preventing business risks.
Key topics covered included personnel development, corporate values, competencies, risk management, and development strategies. Adding a unique perspective, Hero of the Russian Federation and cosmonaut Alexander Misurkin shared his experiences with risk management in space.
