Yango Establishes Regional African Headquarters in Abidjan, Reinforces Dedication to the Continent

Yango Group, a UAE-based tech company, has set its sights on Africa's digital future. The company has launched a new regional office in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire, marking a significant step in their African expansion.

The Abidjan hub will serve as the company's continental headquarters, coordinating operations across 16 African countries. This move is part of Yango's long-term strategy to build locally rooted digital ecosystems that leverage global technologies.

Daniil Shuleyko, CEO of Yango Group, stated that Africa was where the journey of Yango Group started, and they are investing in the future by making Abidjan home to their largest office in Africa. He further added that the hub will serve as a launchpad for scaling operations and innovation across Africa.

Yango Group has built a multi-service Super App offering ride-hailing, food delivery, navigation, e-commerce, and digital payments. Their approach aims to unlock economic opportunity and strengthen local value chains, blending global tech with local market demands for sustainable growth and digital empowerment across Africa.

The Yango Fellowship program will now be coordinated from Abidjan. This initiative aims to equip hundreds of thousands of young Africans with digital skills, with Daniil Shuleyko stating that the program's goal is to empower the next generation of African tech leaders.

Yango Group entered Africa in 2018 with a launch in Cote d'Ivoire. Since then, they have been scaling their operations and services, and the Abidjan hub currently employs 200 staff members. The company plans to expand into more countries, rolling out tailored B2B tech services to empower small businesses, drivers, couriers, and users within these ecosystems.
