Toleranz-Raum Exhibition Coming to Kaarst, Germany

The Toleranz-Tunnel association is set to make a lasting impact in the digital realm, following the exhibition period of the Toleranz-Raum exhibition in various German cities. The exhibition, which will be held in Kaarst, aims to foster networking among initiatives and with visitors, and encourage reflection on questions related to respect, tolerance, and conflict resolution.

Organized by the non-profit Toleranz-Tunnel association, the Toleranz-Raum exhibition will consist of colorful containers placed on central squares, transforming the city into an interactive space for dialogue and understanding. The outdoor area will illuminate and present everyday situations, while the indoor space will feature quotes from prominent figures such as Anne Frank, Sophie Scholl, Leon Goretzka, Leeroy Matata, and others. Videos and audio documents will further enhance the experience.

The exhibition, open to visitors of all ages, from schoolchildren to seniors, will be free and open to independent visitors. Larger groups and school classes (from grade 3) are advised to register due to space constraints. The city of Kaarst seeks interested individuals aged 18 and above to volunteer as guides and tolerance team members for the exhibition.

The Toleranz-Raum exhibition aims to open new perspectives on tolerance and the lives of others for the audience. To support this mission, volunteers will guide visitors, provide information about the exhibition’s themes, assist with educational programs or workshops, help organize events or discussions, and support the logistical aspects of running the space.

Comprehensive educational materials are available at www.toleranzraeume.org. Inquiries and registrations can be made at [email protected]. For precise details about the Toleranz-Raum exhibition in Kaarst and the specific volunteer roles, it is recommended to check official sources such as the exhibition's organizers, the city of Kaarst's cultural department, or local community websites related to the event.

By participating in the Toleranz-Raum exhibition, volunteers and visitors alike will contribute to the Toleranz-Tunnel association's mission to promote peaceful coexistence in society and contribute to long-term societal change. The exhibition is expected to be a meaningful and engaging experience for all involved.
