This plugin adds curated entries related to notable LGBTQIA+ milestones, pride months, famous activist birthdays, and historical achievements. These calendar entries serve as reminders of the diverse history and ongoing journey of the LGBTQIA+ community, often emphasizing awareness and celebration of diversity.
The plugin includes lesser-known facts, such as the invention of the high-five by Glenn Burke, the first major league baseball player to come out as gay. Other notable individuals featured in the plugin include historian Lillian Faderman and Lithuania's first openly gay politician, Rokas Źilinskas.
The plugin also highlights significant events such as the legalization of same-sex marriage in Canada and the resignation of Queen Elizabeth's bodyguard, Commander Michael Trestrail, after being in a relationship with a male prostitute.
