Three additional sessions for the Youth Traffic Schools, focusing on road safety.
In the heart of Giessen, children aged 6 to 11 now have a unique opportunity to learn about road safety in a protected environment. The city has introduced a traffic training area in the Weststadt, specifically located on Krofdorfer Street 109a.
This innovative space, open outside of school hours, is designed to provide children with hands-on experience in road traffic situations. Parents are invited to join their children in testing their driving skills on the road within the safety of this area.
The upcoming opportunities to participate in this educational event are scheduled for August 30, September 13, and September 27, from 10:00 to 13:00. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, it is mandatory for parents or a person of full age to supervise during the event.
For these special occasions, professional personnel from Gießen@Schule gGmbH will accompany the training. In July 2025, the ORGΔ-TEΔM Hirsch_22 will be responsible for organizing the youth traffic schools events.
To make the most of this learning experience, it is essential to bring a traffic-appropriate bicycle and helmet along for the event. The traffic training area in the Weststadt is an invaluable resource for families, offering them a chance to educate their children about road safety in a fun and engaging way.
