The first member of this team is Sule Ozel, a retired engineer with a background in educational publishing who shares a passion for knowledge, logic, and science promotion.
Ozel, who graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at ODTU in 1988, connected with the Evolution Agency through Facebook. She has been a long-time follower and supporter of the agency, valuing its commitment to promoting science and logic.
Ozel's involvement in the translation team aims to fill another important role in Turkey. With only 17% of the population speaking English, according to a 2006 statistic (with the actual figure likely being less than 5%), there is a significant need for high-quality scientific content in the Turkish language. Ozel's retirement does not hinder her active participation in the Evolution Agency and the translation team.
