In the ever-evolving landscape of global challenges, a new tool has emerged to help us tackle the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Sustain2030® PLAN B. This engaging simulation, developed by Sustain2030, invites participants to form the Global Development Panel and navigate their way to a sustainable future on Planet B.

Sustain2030® PLAN B is designed to accommodate a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 18 participants, making it suitable for various group sizes. The simulation lasts at least 6 hours, plus breaks, and its modular structure allows for the game to be divided into multiple sessions. For larger player groups, additional time should be allocated or the game can be conducted in multiple parallel small groups.

The simulation can be facilitated both in person and digitally, with access to the game materials available in both German and English. The playing cards are provided as PDF documents for printing and as an interactive website, offering flexibility for various settings.

No prior knowledge is required for participants, but introductory information on the SDGs and Earth4All turning points is recommended. Regular digital get-to-know sessions are offered to provide a direct insight into the game.

The price of implementation includes accompanying moderation, which is calculated based on effort (time, number of participants, content). The required equipment includes a PC and a projector. The price of materials or a license for the simulation is upon request.

The ideal number of participants for Sustain2030® PLAN B is 12 to 18, and the target group includes higher education and adult education participants. Sustain2030® PLAN B is a valuable resource for those seeking to engage in a hands-on, immersive experience aimed at achieving a sustainable future.
