stc Bahrain's 'jeel ICT' Program Empowers 20 Graduates for Digital Economy
stc Bahrain has launched the 'jeel ICT' program for the second year, selecting 20 Bahraini graduates after receiving over 1000 applications. The program aligns with Tamkeen's strategic priorities and Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030, aiming to enhance national talent and digital economy growth.
The 'jeel ICT' program offers a 12-month internship at stc Bahrain, including advanced ICT training, psychometric assessments, and dedicated mentorship, with an investment of over 10,000 development hours. Eng. Khalid Al Osaimi, CEO of stc Bahrain, highlights the program's significance in driving national talent growth and contributing to Bahrain's digital economy.
The program is a 100% nationalized talent development initiative, delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Labour, Tamkeen, and the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF). HE. Maha Abdulhamid Mufeez, Chief Executive of Labour Fund, Tamkeen, endorses the program for enhancing training and employment opportunities for national talents.
The 'jeel ICT' program, launched in partnership with the Ministry of Labour and Tamkeen, has selected 20 exceptional graduates to empower them with critical technical, business, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills for the ICT and FinTech sectors. With over 10,000 development hours invested, the program is set to boost Bahraini citizens' competitiveness and enterprise growth, in line with Tamkeen's strategic priorities for 2025.
