Schedule for Sexual Respect Week 2025

The College of the Holy Cross is gearing up for Sexual Respect Awareness Week, an annual event aimed at celebrating healthy sexuality and fostering learning about healthy relationships, love, and belonging on campus. This year, the event is scheduled from Monday, February 10th to Friday, February 14th.

Organised by the Student Government Association (SGA), the week-long series is part of an ongoing effort to start conversations about sexual respect at Holy Cross. The event is a collaboration between the SGA, the Office of Title IX & Equal Opportunity, and the Relationship Peer Educators.

On Monday, February 10th, the week kicks off with an event called "Agape Latte" at 4:30 p.m. in the Campion Living Room, and a workshop called "Creating Healthy Club Culture" at 7:00 p.m. in Hogan 402/3. Maggie Baum '25, the SGA Director of Sexual Respect and Awareness, is at the helm of these initiatives.

The event schedule for Sexual Respect Awareness Week includes a panel discussion about Title IX and Equal Opportunity Careers, a Dialogue Dinner, and a fishbowl style discussion about continuing the conversation of sexual respect at Holy Cross. On Tuesday, February 11th, students 21 and up can make a Valentine's craft at Pub Night and learn about the One Love Foundation.

On Wednesday, February 12th, a sexual health trivia game and live Q&A with Sex Educator Goody Howard, MPH, are on the agenda. The week culminates on Thursday, February 13th, with a panel discussion about Title IX and Equal Opportunity Careers and a Dialogue Dinner to discuss the role of sex education at a Catholic college or university.

The week's events will conclude on Friday, February 14th, with a fishbowl style discussion about continuing the conversation of sexual respect at Holy Cross, and a Men's Hockey senior game with Valentine's Day candy and facts about consent.
