Sara Buschmann releases her latest publication
On Wednesday, September 24, at 7 p.m., the Adult Education Centre Gütersloh will host a book premiere for Sara Buschmann's latest work, "It's about what we all should know about single parenting." Sara Buschmann, a well-known figure in Gütersloh, is the founder of the online network "Solo Mothers" and has gained a significant following on Instagram for her honest and insightful approach to single parenting. Her new book aims to shed light on the unique challenges and realities faced by single parents, while also offering practical tips for everyday life, both emotionally, organizationally, and financially. The book discusses parenthood in general, the structures of our working world, the welfare state, gender equality, and questions of financial education. The event will see Buschmann reading from her book and discussing it with Dr. Mariella Gronenthal, the deputy director of the VHS. Audience members are invited to ask questions during the discussion. According to recent statistics, approximately 1.7 million people in Germany are single parents. This book, therefore, offers valuable insights not just for single parents, but also for mothers, fathers, and those who know single parents. Admission to the book premiere is free, and registration can be done online at www.vhs-gt.de or by phone at 05241 / 82-2925 (course number H12500). This registration helps with planning for the event. The book premiere is an opportunity to discuss how society can support each other in solidarity, and to learn from Buschmann's experiences as a single parent and author. We look forward to seeing you there.
