In a remarkable recognition of her achievements, Ruomu Hu, the Vice President and General Manager of HARMAN Embedded Audio (HEA), has been named a recipient of the 2025 Powerful Women in Consumer Electronics Award.

With over 20 years of leadership at HARMAN, Hu has led the business unit that designs and delivers integrated audio solutions, including embedded software, hardware, and finished products for various sectors. Hu holds advanced engineering degrees from the University of Michigan and Purdue University and has completed executive education programs at Stanford University. She is multilingual and has extensive experience leading global teams across North America, China, India, Europe, Korea, and Japan.

She also established HARMAN's legal entity in China and launched a manufacturing greenfield operation, while spearheading the introduction of Harman/Kardon brand marketing in China.
