Police HQ Recklinghausen Launches 'AnsprechBAR' Dialogue Series for Students

Police Headquarters Recklinghausen has launched a new dialogue series, 'AnsprechBAR – die Polizei informiert', aimed specifically at students. The series kicked off on September 18, 2025, at the Paul-Spiegel-Berufskolleg in Dorsten. The event, using an Airstream trailer and interactive formats, aims to engage young people in discussions about crucial topics such as online dangers, knife violence, radicalization, and civil courage.

The 'AnsprechBAR' series will visit various schools in the Recklinghausen district and the city of Bottrop until early October. While no public information is currently available about the specific schools to be visited in the coming days, journalists are welcome to attend these events. They are asked to register with the police press office for access.

The series seeks to achieve several goals. It aims to enlighten students about digital crime, prevent violence and radicalization, promote media literacy, and foster trust between the police and young people. By creating a pleasant atmosphere for discussions, the police hopes to engage students in meaningful conversations about these important issues.
