Performers from the All-Star group scheduled for June 5th
The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music has announced the winners of the 2022 All-Star Competition, a prestigious annual event showcasing the school's most talented students. This year's winners include a diverse selection of eight musicians representing various instruments and styles.
The list of winners includes Nathan Culcasi, Hanna Hrybkova, Sabrina Langlois, Alexander Lee, Hannah Miller, Christina Perez, Arutyun Piloyan, and Kaya Ralls. Nathan Culcasi, a first-year master's student, has chosen Ferdinand David's Concertino in E Flat, Op. 4. The concert will also feature another performance selection, Knoxville: Summer of 1915, a piece for voice and orchestra by Barber.
