Occitanie Hosts Global Space Summit for Resilience and Innovation in 2026
Occitanie, a leading European space region, is set to host the Space Summit for a Resilient Future 2026. The event, organized by Novaspace with the support of the Occitanie Region, will take place in Toulouse on May 12-13, 2026. It aims to bring together over 500 leaders from the global space value chain to discuss resilience, sustainability, and innovation.
Occitanie, home to 40% of France's space workforce and one-third of Europe's space jobs, is an ideal host for this summit. Its capital, Toulouse, houses major space players like CNES Toulouse Space Center, Airbus Defence and Space, and Thales Alenia Space. Delegates will have the chance to explore these sites during Learning Expeditions.
The summit is developed in collaboration with French and international institutions, reflecting global priorities and showcasing the regional ecosystem. Pacôme Révillon, CEO of Novaspace, and Carole Delga, President of the Occitanie Region, both support the event and its goals. The Occitanie Region's recent adoption of a Space Roadmap further underscores its commitment to accelerating innovation and supporting New Space companies.
The Space Summit for a Resilient Future 2026 promises to be a significant event, bringing together global space leaders in one of Europe's leading space regions. More information can be found at https://space-summit-resilient-future.com.
