NUFAM 2025: Major Players Showcase Electric Trucks and Solar Power Innovations

NUFAM 2025 is showcasing the future of sustainable transport. Key players in e-mobility and alternative drives are exhibiting their latest innovations, with a strong focus on solar power and electric vehicles.

Prominent manufacturers like MAN, DAF Trucks Deutschland, and Scania are stealing the spotlight with their electric trucks. Continental is also present, displaying eco-friendly tire solutions and digital fleet management systems.

New electric underfloor coolers and trailers with external batteries are making their debut at the event. Around 60 percent of fleet operators are planning to adopt alternative drives in the near future, including hydrogen and hybrid concepts.

Suer Nutzfahrzeugtechnik is presenting an electrically suitable Maxus vehicle with an anodized Suer ASPL tipper. Sono Motors has received the General Operating Permission (ABE) for an aftermarket solar bus kit, further pushing the boundaries of solar-powered transport.

The market for alternative drives is booming. By 2032, around 16 percent of fleet operators plan to purchase heavy battery-electric trucks. Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Transport Europe (MTTE) is committed to this shift, presenting emission-free, fully electric transport refrigeration units. IM Efficiency and Sono Motors are collaborating to showcase on-board solar technologies for trucks and trailers.
