Moving from Erding to an Elite Training Session
Munich's Ostbahnhof Hosts Master Schools Graduation Ceremony
Justin Jakob Tauber, a native of Erding/Langengeisling, was among the 324 graduates who recently celebrated their achievements at the Ostbahnhof in Munich. The graduation ceremony was a celebration of the diverse group of individuals, ranging in age from 18 to 55, and hailing from 23 different countries.
The master schools, a joint institution of the chamber of crafts and the state capital, provided the graduates with a comprehensive education in various trades. These included electrical engineering, hairdressing, precision engineering, information technology, installation and heating engineering, agricultural machinery mechatronics, metal construction, dental technology, and more.
Justin Tauber, now the workshop foreman at Stahl- und Metallbau Flötzinger, was one of the graduates who returned to the workshop where he had previously learned. He found the practical aspects of his apprenticeship to be more challenging than expected, but the three-year programme was shortened to three and a half years for him.
The graduation ceremony was marked by speeches praising the graduates as future leaders, entrepreneurs, and trainers. Political and association VIPs, including Franz Xaver Peteranderl, were in attendance. The president of the chamber of crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria certified that the graduates have acquired high theoretical and practical knowledge.
In addition to their specialized trades, the graduates also learned bookkeeping as part of their education. Justin Tauber mentions that he was already familiar with bookkeeping from school, but found laws and tax regulations to be more challenging.
After the formal ceremony, the graduates and their guests enjoyed a lively party to celebrate their achievements. The Ostbahnhof, with its spacious halls and unique atmosphere, provided the perfect backdrop for this joyous occasion.
While there is no specific information about a master schools graduation ceremony held at the Ostbahnhof Munich in September 2024, it is clear that this year's event was a memorable one for the graduates and those who supported them on their journey. For those interested in future graduation ceremonies, it is recommended to check official announcements from the relevant master school or university in Munich or to contact them directly.
