We're bursting with pride over our students' achievements, and this month, we're shining the spotlight on one of our LA graduates, Geovanni Araujo, or as his fans know him, GEONI. Known for his psychedelic electronic music, GEONI is a Mexican musician, producer, and songwriter.

GEONI: I completed the Music Production and Audio Engineering Diploma in 2023.
2. What was Your Experience Learning with Us? We'd Love to Hear About It.
GEONI: Attending PBLA was the best decision I've ever made. The environment was warm and fostered a sense of community. Workshops were filled with collaboration, learning, and assistance from both teachers and students alike. They were like a school full of wise fish eager to share their knowledge with a newcomer.

5. Who Were Your Musical Inspirations Growing Up?
GEONI: My primary inspiration has always been Jim Morrison and his poetic approach to music. I also admired rock bands like Metallica, The Doors, and Pink Floyd. Although, you might wonder, "Why doesn't GEONI feel inspired?" Well, I'm taking my craft to places I've never dreamed, and what better partner to do it with than the renowned PHISICA! Look out for my 2025 album, "The Legitimate Son Of A Rockstar."
6. How has Our School Aided Your Musical Journey?
When I first joined PBLA, I stepped into the industry as a timid musician with ideas but no clear directions. PBLA helped me refine my talents, teaching me how to utilize Ableton for mixing, mastering, recording, and the music business.
