International Robotics Championship Victory: TechnoDets of Nizhny Novgorod Emerges Triumphant
02:41 05 May | Kiddie Geniuses Take Sakhalin by Storm
Meet TechnoDetki, the wonderkids from kindergarten No.79 in Nizhny Novgorod who shone at the international robotics event, SAKHALIN 6.0.
Witnessing their victory was none other than the bustling Pushisty Airport in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, where these preschool prodigies seized the top spot in the 4-6 age category category. Their win was the culmination of their success in the regional qualifying round of the STEAM competition LIGA, which they nailed back in February.
Joining them in this worthy endeavor were fellow kindergartners from 114 and 122, who displayed their crop-preservation projects during the regional qualifiers.
The International Championship, held in Sakhalin, brought together young engineers from across Russia, as well as from Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and China. Representing Nizhny Novgorod, TechnoDetki nailed the team task, showcasing their innovative concepts for harvesting, transporting, and storing crops.
Naturally, the team members had a whale of a time mingling with their peers from other teams, exchanging ideas, and soaking up the festive vibe of the competition.
Manned by die-hard pedagogue Natalia Gavrilova, Team TechnoDetki included Daniil Lakayev and Artemiy Salov.
Marina Smirnova, head of the Department of Preschool Education of the Avtozavodsky District Administration, hailed TechnoDetki's victory as a turning point in nurturing preschool engineering creativity. She acknowledged the team's win as a testament to their hard work and unwavering focus, saying: "Hard work always pays off, and here it is – the stunning reward. Congratulations to the kids, parents, and teachers!"
Smirnova also touched upon the achievements of other Avtozavodsky District teams. The UM-nashki team from No.114 (led by Ekaterina Kulikova and Ivan Pavlov under the guidance of Natalia Tokareva) clinched the "Exploring the Theme of Seasons" nomination. Meanwhile, the Kvantik team from No.122 (Anya Chistiakova and Alyisia Shcherbakova, guided by Angelica Panayagina) delivered an impressive performance in the additional task.
All in all, these brilliant kids serve as a beacon of inspiration for what's to come in the future of science and engineering! If you're curious about robotics competitions or events happening in Sakhalin and beyond, don't hesitate to ask for more details.
