Expanding Horizons in Almaty's Auezov District

The Auezov District has experienced a remarkable transformation as new social stores, schools, and sports facilities have popped up. This revitalization area is a priority, with enhanced beautification projects underway.

Residents like Nailya Ablazova and Zhandarbek Zhakupov have expressed their satisfaction with the improvements made, particularly the rejuvenated playgrounds and park on Zhandosov Street.

The district also welcomed a new martial arts school, which has been graced by Mayor Bakytzhan Sagintayev's visit. The sports club, located in Jetisu-3 microdistrict, offers free training for 40 children every day, taught by master sportsmen.

Imid Tokhtasyn, President of the Free Sparring Federation, expressed his gratitude for the new facility, stating their readiness to train children around the clock. Sultan Seitjan, a resident near the hall, expressed his excitement, aiming to become a world champion in kickboxing.

Meanwhile, young, gifted IT specialists are busy teaching digital literacy to the population in the Aksai-2 microdistrict. The Digital Academy Elab Asia, founded last year, offers training to around 2,000 people daily. The Akim, upon seeing the projects, noted the need for similar centers in all districts of the city.

In the photo and video studio, they create promotional videos and voiceover texts. The room is equipped with high-end equipment, making it capable of producing professional content.

A social store called Qarqyn - ALA opened on Zhansugurov Street, providing free items to those in need, such as footwear, strollers, clothing, and food. Madayar Mukhametzhanuly, the organizer of the social free store, mentioned that around 100 people visit daily, including war veterans and those serving in the rear.

The "Isker Ana" project is also operational in the "Baqytty Otbasy" district, offering business training for multi-child mothers. Saule Beketayeva, the founder of "Asyl Zhurek" fund, highlighted the project's goal of helping mothers start their own businesses, become independent, and implement their ideas. Sandugash Esenbekova, a multi-child mother, shared her intention to utilize Kazakh wool and create a Kazakh brand for her sheepskin blanket business.

As Almaty continues to grow and develop, the city strives to ensure residents live in a secure and comfortable environment.
