Respectful attitudes show consideration for others, their opinions, and their rights. Tolerant attitudes accept differences or behaviours that may not be liked or agreed with but do not necessarily approve or support them.

Self-centered attitudes prioritize one’s own interests, needs, and desires often at the expense of others. Altruistic attitudes, however, prioritize others’ welfare and act with selfless concern for their well-being.

Understanding these differences can help us become more aware of our own attitudes and behaviours, enabling us to make positive changes and improve our interactions with others.
