Highlighted Higher Education Students Recognized as GDUSA's 2020 Notable Personalities to Watch Out For

The annual GDUSA Students to Watch feature, a prestigious honour for any design student, showcases the rising stars of America's leading design schools, including our institution.

Being one of the few online art/design programs featured in this esteemed event, our graduates stand tall in august company. This year, two of our students, Lynne Adams and Christin Rogers, have been recognised for their exceptional talent.

Lynne Adams, a graduate of the AOS in Illustration program and currently pursuing an Undergraduate Certificate in Graphic Design, is a designer and prolific artist who is very much involved in her community. Her GDUSA profile can be found at http://gdusa.com/studentstowatch2020/lynne-adams.

Christin Rogers, a graduate of the AOS in Graphic Design program, has a passion for packaging design and custom illustration. Her GDUSA profile can be found at http://gdusa.com/studentstowatch2020/christin-rogers.

The GDUSA Students to Watch feature highlights notable emerging talent in graphic design, recognising students for their innovative and promising work in the field. It features students from top design schools, providing them exposure alongside industry influencers and creative thought leaders.

Leading design schools included in GDUSA’s wider coverage and related special reports, such as the “2025 Top Design Schools” report, typically encourage interdisciplinary and innovative design education. Parsons School of Design, for example, is noted for transformative student work and leadership in design education. Parsons specifically receives media attention for cultivating students with remarkable projects in sustainable product design and interior design scholarships, tying into the broader recognition of emerging talent in GDUSA’s circles.

GDUSA’s Students to Watch feature is part of its long tradition (62+ years) of identifying next-generation design talent. It often coincides with other annual showcases like the People to Watch, Package Design Awards, Digital Design Awards, and Print Design Surveys, all contributing to a comprehensive view of contemporary and future design leaders.

We congratulate Lynne and Christin Adams on their success in the GDUSA Students to Watch feature. We look forward to following their future creative exploits in the industry.
