Experiencing Classical Living in London with Sabrina Curpanen
Classical Music Star Bids Farewell in Emotional London Concert
Sabrina Curpanen, a talented pianist with a rich background in music, recently performed in a touching farewell concert in London. The emotional event took place at St. Cuthbert Church in Earls Court on the 29th of July, marking the last performance of Curpanen and her friend Hitomi.
Curpanen, who has been a teacher, student, accompanist, and performer in the last two months, has had lessons with her Piano teacher from the Royal Academy and participated in Masterclasses at Trinity Laban conservatoire in London. Her repertoire for lessons and performances included works by Schubert, Beethoven, Strauss, Mozart, Holst, and others.
The concert was a precious present for Curpanen, thanks to Gisela, Staff Manager at WKMT, who composed a heartfelt composition, "Lorien," dedicated to Hitomi and Curpanen. Gisela's unique event added a personal touch to the concert, making it a memorable experience for all.
WKMT, a music studio in London, offers opportunities for beginners to advanced students to experience music in various aspects. The studio has been instrumental in Curpanen's growth as a musician, providing her with IT support, interviews, compositions, and performance opportunities.
Victor, Administrator at WKMT, helps Curpanen with her IT skills and covers for her when she is late. Juan, Director of WKMT, is recognized for his hard work, incredible organization skills, precision, and accuracy.
Curpanen's second performance took place at the Italian Institute of Culture on the 22nd of July, where she performed works for 4 hands and 2 pianos. Prior to this, she performed at Hemel Hempstead on the 7th of July and at Aylesbury on the 22nd of June with her friend Hitomi, playing Beethoven Violin Sonatas n. 6-9.
Hitomi, who is planning to go back to Japan after her Masters at the Royal Academy, also played an integral role in Curpanen's performances. The concert on the 29th of July was emotional not only because it was their last performance together, but also because of the beautiful music they created together.
As Curpanen looks forward to the next term with WKMT, we can only anticipate more beautiful music from this talented pianist. Her classical life in London continues to flourish, and we are excited to see what the future holds for Sabrina Curpanen.
