Exam results disclosed: reveals student assessment methods

The main EGE (Unified State Exam) period concluded in Russia last year, and preliminary results have now been shared by Anzor Muzaev, the head of Rosobrnadzor, at the International Multimedia Press Center of "Russia Today".

The 2025 EGE saw an impressive number of students excelling in their exams. Three hundred thirty-one students managed to score 100 on two subjects, and remarkably, thirteen students achieved this feat on three subjects. One student even scored a perfect 100 on all four subjects.

However, when comparing these scores to the 2024 EGE, there appears to be a slight dip in average scores across several subjects. The average score for Chemistry in 2025 was 58.1, compared to 63.88 in 2024. Similarly, the average score for Physics dropped from 63.21 in 2024 to 61.7 in 2025. The average score for Biology also saw a decrease, from 62.55 in 2024 to 54.5 in 2025.

On the other hand, the average score for Russian Language in 2025 was 60.7, slightly lower than the 63.88 achieved in 2024. However, it's important to note that the average score for Informatics in 2025 was 55.9, a slight increase from the 2024 average of 54.5. The average score for Social Sciences in 2025 was 53.6.

Over 682,000 participants took part in the EGE exams in 2025. While specific trends or changes from 2024 to 2025 have yet to be identified, it's clear that the EGE continues to present a significant challenge for students aiming for higher education.

It's worth noting that in 2024, training programs like those at Umskul helped thousands of students achieve high scores on the EGE, with over 4,000 students scoring a perfect 100 points and more than 41,000 passing the exam[1]. The EGE plays a crucial role in university admissions in Russia, with top universities requiring high scores for eligibility, making it challenging for students to gain admission[2].

For a more detailed analysis of trends or changes, one would need access to official statistics or reports from Russian educational authorities or organizations involved in the EGE.

The general news of the EGE (Unified State Exam) results for 2025 indicates a slight dip in average scores in various subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Russian Language, compared to the results in 2024. However, it is noteworthy that education-and-self-development programs like those at Umskul have been instrumental in helping students excel in the EGE, with their contributions reflected in the impressive number of students who scored a perfect 100 in 2024 [1][2].
