Engage in the fun! Family invites are out for the "Justice Key 1525" event at the City Museum

In September 2025, the Halle City Museum will host a unique family event, "Justice 1525 - Ottilie Münzer or the Two Important Magic of the World." This event, led by Anke Triller, will guide families with children aged 8 and above through a captivating picture journey depicting the Reformation and the time of the Peasants' War.

The pictures illustrating this journey have been drawn by children from the Grundschule Diemitz/Freiimfelde, following an art workshop led by Grit Wendelberger. The focus of the journey is on how Thomas Münzer's wife Ottilie experienced these significant events.

After the pictures, the important stations of the journey will be traced with the dice game "Ottilie and the Rainbow Flag." This interactive game promises to make the historical journey even more engaging for the young participants.

Anke Triller has been the coordinator of the "Women's Places Saxony-Anhalt" project since late 2019. This project, which includes a total of 52 places in 37 cities and municipalities, tells the stories of remarkable women. The event is part of the special exhibition "Keep Playing!", which aims to engage families with children in learning about history in a fun and interactive way.

Admission to the family event on September 21, 2025, at 2 PM is free. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about an often overlooked perspective of the Reformation and the Peasants' War through the eyes of Ottilie Münzer.
