In a significant development, the Deputy President of Kızılay, Ramazan Saygılı, has announced that 629 students have been inspired by the initiative to secure places in prestigious universities across Tuğrkiye. These students are the beneficiaries of the Kızılay Scholarship Program, which prioritized earthquake-affected youth this year.

The scholarship program is part of Kızılay's wider efforts to support education, a cause that Saygılı has urged the business community and philanthropists to contribute to for the sake of tomorrow's future. As part of this initiative, Kızılay has established 14 libraries in the six provinces most affected by earthquakes.

Among these libraries, the 100th Year Libraries were inspired by a remarkable story. A girl named Hümeyra, who studied under an electric pole in a container city in Malatya during the cold winter, served as a beacon of resilience and determination. The 629 students who have entered university through the library project were inspired by Hümeyra's spirit.

These students will continue their education at respected universities in Türkiye with Kızılay scholarships. Kızılay will continue supporting these 629 students throughout their education with scholarships funded by donations from the business community.

In addition to the scholarship program, Kızılay has provided stationery support for 117,000 students this year. School starter kits were distributed to 7,107 students in total. Saygılı noted that although textbooks are provided by the state, stationery support was offered to primary, secondary, and high school students to ensure they have the necessary tools for learning.

The distribution of scholarships and stationery support is part of Kızılay's commitment to empowering the next generation, especially those affected by natural disasters. Among the 629 students who have been awarded scholarships, 201 are heading to medical schools, 85 to engineering programs, and over 100 to law faculties.

The Kızılay Scholarship Programs for the 629 students studying at the libraries of the Kızılay 100th Anniversary are financed by the Turkish Red Crescent (Kızılay) itself. This demonstrates Kızılay's unwavering dedication to supporting education and nurturing the potential of young Turks.

In conclusion, the Kızılay Scholarship Program and Library Project have made a significant impact on the lives of 629 students, providing them with the opportunity to pursue higher education and fulfil their dreams. Kızılay's efforts serve as a testament to its commitment to education and its mission to support those in need.
