The campaign, set to expand in October, will feature dialogue sessions, a cybersecurity forum, and workshops. It supports the UAE's vision of building a safe and resilient digital society and encourages responsible technology use.
The ecrimehub website, launched by Dubai Police, is a key resource. It offers guides on electronic crimes, advice for online fraud victims, and an AI-powered assistant for cybersecurity queries. Notably, it hosts a smart chatbot capable of analyzing uploaded images for signs of fraud and a library of 60 awareness videos about the latest threats and scams.
The 'Capture the Flag' contest, with a total prize pool of Dh223,000, is divided into three categories: school students (Dh40,000), university students (Dh78,000), and professionals (Dh95,000). Online qualifiers will take place from October 5, culminating in an in-person grand finale on October 25 and 26 at the Dubai Police Officers' Club.
