District of Landshut announces work inspections from April 4th to 7th.

The Landshut district is set to host its second "Job Tour" from August 4 to August 7, 2025, during the summer holidays. This unique event is designed to provide insights into the training professions of various companies throughout the district. Interested students are invited to apply for the "Job Tour" by sending their applications to [email protected] by July 11, 2025. Applications should include the applicant's address and parental consent. During the "Job Tour", students will have the opportunity to learn about different materials and try out numerous tools and techniques under professional guidance. The participating companies this year include SPIE SAG, Feistl Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology GmbH & Co. KG, Ergomar in Ergolding, and Schott AG. The "Job Tour" will take place from Monday to Wednesday from 8:00 to 15:00 and on Thursday from 8:00 to 14:00. For additional inquiries, Harald Fellner, the district's education coordinator, can be reached at phone number 0871 408-1155, while further questions can be directed to Angela Schedlbauer at the Landshut District Economic Development Office, phone number 0871 408-1177. Participation in the "Job Tour", including lunch and drinks, is free of charge. The event is open to all interested girls and boys. Last year, the "Job Tour" took place successfully during the Whitsun holidays. While the participating companies in this year's event have not been explicitly listed, AGROLAB participated in the Inclusive Job Fair in the Landshut region in May 2025, indicating its engagement in similar youth vocational orientation events. The "Job Tour" is a series of internship days modeled after the successful "Holidays in the Workshop". It aims to provide practical, hands-on experience to students, helping them to make informed decisions about their future careers. The district of Landshut is committed to fostering youth vocational orientation and is excited to offer this opportunity once again.
