Deogiri College Hosts commencement of BAMU District Youth Festival on September 19, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is set to host the District Possible Youth Festival from September 19th to 20th. The event will be inaugurated by Social Justice Minister and Guardian Minister Sanjay Shirsath at 9:30 am on the 19th.
Principal Dr. Ashok Tejankar addressed a press conference about the festival, where he revealed that approximately one thousand youth artists from 151 colleges will participate. The festival is being prepared under the guidance of Vice Chancellor Dr. Vijay Phulari and General Secretary of the MSP Board, Satish Chavan.
The festival will showcase 20 art forms in five groups. Renowned actress Smita Gondkar will conduct the closing ceremony, which will also feature the closing remarks by Hon. Dr. Aditya Yelikar and Hon. Vivek Jaiswal. The prize distribution ceremony will take place at 4 pm on September 20th.
The festival will see the participation of 985 artists, including 412 boys and 571 girls. There are 204 team managers, 131 of whom are men and 103 are women.
The opening ceremony of the festival will be attended by several dignitaries, including Sanjay Shirsath, members Trimbakrao Pathrikar and Rajendra More, and Hon. Vivek Jaiswal. The closing ceremony will also have the presence of these esteemed individuals, along with Hon. Dr. Aditya Yelikar.
The Central Youth Festival of all four districts will be held on the university premises between 27th and 29th September. The Student Development Board Director, Dr. Kailas Ambhure, Vice Principal Dr. Ganesh Mohite, Dr. Ravi Patil, Prof. Arpana Taware, Dr. Sanjay Shinde, and Prof. Manik Bhatane were present during the press meet.
Director Dr. Kailash Ambhure also informed about the Central Youth Festival. Senior member of the organization Panditrao Harshe will preside over the event. The festival will be held at Deogiri College.
The university and the festival organisers have not released any information about the representatives attending the opening ceremony, weather updates, scuffles, or Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh.
