Companies in Nizhny Tagil's educational and industrial sectors have agreed on collaboration under the "Professionalism" initiative.
A new coalition seals a deal aimed at moulding personnel for high-demand industries, signed by EVRAZ, NTGMK, the Sverdlovsk region's Ministries of Education and Industry & Science. Here's the scoop on why this partnership packs a punch.
This alliance marks a step forward in developing specialists tailored to our region's booming sectors. By equipping students with practical skills and market-ready abilities, this initiative bolsters their employability and job prospects post-graduation, as stated by Svetlana Trenchina, the Minister of Education for the Sverdlovsk region.
The cooperation sparks multifunctional talent development, even during college years. In return, NTGMK promises to provide state-of-the-art training equipment, benefiting both students and plant employees.
Denis Novozhenov, EVRAZ's Vice-President, lauded this partnership as an essential step in graduating specialists capable of seamlessly transitioning into roles at EVRAZ's plants and fostering career advancement. This symbiotic collaboration enables the enhancement of young engineers' training for the company's enterprises and serves as a catalyst for a fresh wave of young professionals.
The day before, following Denis Pasler's guidelines, the Sverdlovsk region witnessed the emergence of seven new clusters, including a metallurgical cluster led by NTGMK, which receives approx. 200 million rubles allocated from the budget for development, and additional funding from key industry partners such as EVRAZ NTMK, EVRAZ KGOK, "EvrAzTechnika", and others.
The incoming academic year will see approximately 430 students admitted to the college, pursuing full-time and part-time courses under the "Professionalism" program. According to earlier reports by "Regional Newspaper", these seven clusters will collectively receive approximately 1.5 billion rubles.
