City Digital Services Heads Change Hands, Consists of Four New Managers

In the heart of Baden-Württemberg, the city of Pforzheim is embracing a digital future, thanks to a new wave of talent from the Digital Administration Management (DVM) course.

The DVM course, which began at the Universities of Public Administration in Kehl and Ludwigsburg in September 2020, focuses on IT, law, and management. Nearly 40 graduates have successfully completed the course, bringing their expertise to the Baden-Württemberg authorities.

Patrick Paré, a DVM graduate, is leading this charge as the head of the new central administrative department of the Office for Public Order in Pforzheim. He is joined by Nina Schäfer, another DVM graduate, who serves as his deputy, working intensively on the integration of sustainable process management and the digitization of the office.

The city of Pforzheim has been particularly keen on recruiting DVM graduates, hiring the most among all authorities in Baden-Württemberg. Four graduates are currently working in the Pforzheim city administration, but their specific roles and identities remain undisclosed at this time.

Mayor Peter Boch is delighted with the recruitment, expressing his pleasure in welcoming four DVM graduates to the Pforzheim city administration. Two of these graduates, Jaqueline Lichti and Selina Kohlhase, are making significant strides in the Smart City department, serving as project managers and supporting the implementation of the Smart City strategy.

As the digital age continues to reshape the world, these DVM graduates are starting their careers in public administration, bringing a fresh perspective and innovative solutions to the forefront of governance in Pforzheim. The city's embrace of digital management is a testament to its commitment to progress and its vision for a sustainable, efficient, and forward-thinking future.
