Central Asia's Economy Professionals Receive English Language Improvement through American Program

In a significant move towards fostering collaboration and integration in Central Asia, the C5+O.N.E. program has brought together emerging leaders from every Central Asian nation. The virtual launch ceremony of the initiative saw the participation of over 1,500 professionals, with more than 240 from Uzbekistan, over 190 from Kazakhstan, more than 80 from Turkmenistan, and more than 100 each from the Kyrgyz Republic and Tajikistan.

The C5+O.N.E. program, which stands for Central Asia + One Network for Education, is designed to equip these emerging leaders with essential language and networking skills. By doing so, it aims to create a network of professionals that will benefit both the Central Asian region and the United States in the long term.

The importance of English as a key language for future economic growth, global commerce, IT, science, and research was underscored by U.S. Ambassador Lesslie Viguerie. Ambassador Viguerie, who is also the U.S. Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, emphasized the program's role in advancing regional cooperation.

The U.S. ambassadors to several Central Asian countries delivered remarks at the virtual launch ceremony, underscoring the program's significance. The C5+O.N.E. initiative reinforces the role of English as a tool for integration and collaboration in Central Asia.

The C5+O.N.E. program, which now boasts an alumni network of over 1,500 professionals, continues to bridge communities and professions across Central Asia. The initiative's long-term goal is to foster lasting connections that will benefit the region and the United States in the years to come.

Despite the lack of information regarding the names or origins of the leaders of the delegations from the four Central Asian countries who attended the opening ceremony, the program's impact is clear. The C5+O.N.E. program is a testament to the power of collaboration and the potential for growth when diverse communities come together for a common goal.
