On February 11, a panel discussion on Black Mental Health will take place, featuring Kelley Adams, Kween Agba, Nina Scott, Danielle Simien, and Dr. Catherine Thompson.

The panel discussion on "Representation in STEM - Why Representation Matters" is scheduled for Friday, February 18, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM PST. The esteemed panelists include Christian Aganze, a Physics PhD Candidate at UC San Diego, Angela Booker, an Associate Professor of Communications at UC San Diego, Samuel Moore, the External Engagement Strategist and Associate Director for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Moody College of Communications, University of Texas, Austin, Marquis Bartlett, an Artist and K-12 Educator, and Cecilia B. A separate event, "Soul Food: Share Your Favourite Dishes and Why It Feeds Your Soul", is scheduled for Monday, February 28, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM PST. Participants are invited to share recipes and photos of their favourite comfort foods in the RSVP form.

Lastly, a medical illustrator and graphics designer, Chidiebere Ibe, who gained viral fame for his illustrations of a Black fetus, is also set to participate in one of the events. However, the specific event and date are yet to be announced.

All events will take place via the same Zoom link, and registrants will receive the details via email. For any questions or concerns, the Scripps EDI Team can be contacted via their website.
