Record-Breaking Achievements by the Class of 2025 at Our School

In a remarkable milestone, the graduating cohort of 109 students from our school in 2025 has set a new record, surpassing the school's previous high in its history. This exceptional class not only excelled academically but also demonstrated a commitment to personal growth, global awareness, and purpose-driven learning.

An impressive 83% of our students in 2025 scored 30+ points, a substantial increase from the 77% achieved in the previous year. The average score of our students was 34 points, which is 3.5 points above the global mean of 30.58 points.

The Class of 2025's achievements in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) were truly outstanding. With a 100% pass rate, they averaged an impressive 37.2 points out of 45, significantly above the global average. Moreover, 64% of examinations were awarded the top levels 6 or 7 (equivalent to A or A* at A Level), and 41% of students scored 40 points or more, placing them among the top 10% worldwide. Two students even achieved the perfect score of 45 points, ranking them in the top 0.2% of global candidates.

Beyond academics, the cohort made significant contributions to music, drama, sport, and other activities. Many of them have secured places at prestigious universities such as Bath, Durham, King’s College London, UCL, as well as international universities in Germany and the Netherlands.

The Class of 2025's journey reflects the core pillars of our educational philosophy: academic mastery, wellbeing, global awareness, and purpose-driven learning. Some graduates started their educational journey with our school at just two years old, demonstrating a long-term commitment to our institution.

Ms. Laney Rweyemamu, IBDP Program Director, emphasized that our learners are not just passing exams but are writing research papers that matter, leading initiatives, composing music, and organizing campaigns. The cohort's TOK essays, CAS projects, and other initiatives showcased leadership, resilience, and empathy.

The Class of 2025 leaves our school with more than just a diploma; they carry our values of curiosity, achievement, resilience, and empathy with them. Many graduates have been part of our IB Continuum, moving from the Primary Years Programme (PYP) to the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and into the IBDP.

Our school's distinct model, which emphasizes personalized graduation pathways, supported by expert teachers, IB coordinators, and university counselors, has played a significant role in the Class of 2025's achievements.

In the previous year, our school's pass rate was 96%, while the global average diploma pass rate was 81%. Among the 109 students, 87 were full IBDP candidates and 15 pursued IB Courses. Furthermore, 44% of our students scored 35+ points, an increase from 39% in 2024.

The cohort's achievements are a testament to our school's commitment to the core pillars of the IB, emphasizing wellbeing, global awareness, and purpose-driven learning. Our graduates have written research papers, led environmental initiatives, composed original music, and organized mental health awareness campaigns, illustrating their holistic development.

As the Class of 2025 prepares to join top universities worldwide, they do so equipped with the skills to lead, collaborate, and contribute meaningfully to a rapidly changing world.
