Career event AniCura Career Days NRW concludes its successful third installment
AniCura, a leading European provider of high-quality veterinary care for small animals, is set to host the third edition of its Career Days in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW) on September 25-26, 2025. This innovative event, open to veterinary medicine students from the 5th semester, aims to provide valuable insights into the clinical and practice routine, foster personal exchange, and showcase career perspectives within the veterinary field.
AniCura Germany GmbH, registered with the Ulm District Court (HRB 741806), is organising this event, which will tour through several locations in NRW, including Bielefeld, Ahlen, Bökelberg (Mönchengladbach), and the Neandertal Animal Clinic in Haan. The career-focused journey will offer location visits, workshops, and networking opportunities, with topics covering neurology, ophthalmology, resuscitation, and suturing techniques.
Maike Wörner, Head of People & Organization at AniCura Germany, emphasises the event's educational and career-building potential, stating, "The Career Days aim to give students insights into the clinic and practice routine, foster personal exchange, and show perspectives, answer questions, and facilitate the entry into professional life."
AniCura's commitment to its participants extends beyond the workshops, as the organisation covers all costs for catering, transport, and accommodation during the event, with a subsidy of up to 50 euros for arrival and departure. Additionally, an overnight stay before the start of the Career Days can be provided if required.
The AniCura Career Days in NRW are a follow-up to the successful first event, which took place in October 2024 in Baden-Württemberg and was positively evaluated by participants. The innovative event format, exclusive to AniCura, has already led to several successful new hires.
Veterinary medicine students interested in participating can apply until August 8, 2025. Registration and event information can be found at jobs.anicura.de/jobs/6065501-anicura-career-days-nrw-september-2025-fuer-tiermedizin-studierende-m-w-d?promotion=1516833-trackable-share-link-pm. Applications do not require a CV or cover letter, with selection based on registration numbers due to the event's limited capacity.
