BISCDC's Polemic 2025 Concludes: DU's Powerpuff Boys Win Open, NSU's Atomic Disintegration Take Novice Title

The Bangladesh International School and College Debating Club (BISCDC) hosted Polemic 2025, a British Parliamentary (BP) debate tournament, from 25-27 September 2025. The event saw 36 teams from across Dhaka's schools and universities engaging in thought-provoking discussions on topics like climate change and social justice. The tournament was inaugurated by Brigadier General Md Rafiqul Islam and concluded by Mohammad Abul Jalil.

The Open Championship was won by Team Powerpuff Boys, comprising Ishrak Ahmed Khan and Nafis Hasan Ruman, both from Dhaka University. They emerged victorious after intense debates on pressing global issues.

In the Novice Championship, Team Atomic Disintegration, consisting of Manha Al Abdullah and Tahia Aswad Arony from North South University, proved their mettle and took home the title. The tournament provided a platform for budding debaters to hone their skills and engage in constructive dialogue.

Polemic 2025, hosted by BISCDC, successfully concluded with Team Powerpuff Boys and Team Atomic Disintegration being crowned Open and Novice Champions respectively. The tournament fostered critical thinking and debate among young minds, reflecting the spirit of intellectual discourse and growth.
