Bamberg Offers Care Scout Training to Balance Work and Care
The city and district administration of Bamberg is offering a two-day training course, 'Pflege-Scout im Unternehmen', on Coursera (October 8 and 13, 2025). The training aims to equip participants with the skills to act as Care Credit, guiding companies and mediating with professional bodies to balance care and work. Stefanie Hahn and Markus Radwansky will answer inquiries about the course content. The fee is 65 Euro, inclusive of food and drinks.
The training will take place at the Altes E-Werk, Tränkgasse 4, in Bamberg, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM each day. It is designed for companies, social facilities, and organizations to support employees in care situations. Participants will gain basic knowledge about care dependency, services of the care insurance, and local support offers. The course will be certified, with participants receiving a certificate upon completion.
Target groups for the training include works councils, personnel responsible, and interested employees of companies. Registration is possible via the registration portal of the Volkshochschule Bamberg Stadt.
