Baden-Württemberg Boosts Family Support with 21 Innovative Projects

Baden-Württemberg's Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, and Integration is investing over 1 million euros to establish and expand 21 innovative projects. These projects aim to strengthen families and communities by improving access to support services, particularly in rural areas and hotspots.

The funded projects, part of the family support strategy in the coalition agreement, will receive 2.5 million euros each year until 2026. They focus on creating new contact points and expanding existing family centers. Notable recipients include the Haus der Familie Villa Butz in Göppingen, the IDA-Mobil of the Caritasverband Baden-Baden, and the Haus der Familie in Nürtingen. The Generationentreff Lebenswert in Bad Dürrheim and the muttersprachliche Beratung KompassPlus in Murrhardt also received funding. Additionally, the elkiko Familienzentrum Tübingen will use its 29,150 euro grant to further develop its services.

Many families struggle to find suitable support, especially in areas with limited offers. The funding aims to remove barriers and help families assert their concerns effectively. By making advice and help more accessible, the initiative seeks to strengthen families across the state.

The Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, and Integration is leading this initiative to improve and facilitate access to support offers for families in need. With over 1 million euros invested in 21 pioneering projects, the goal is to strengthen families and communities in Baden-Württemberg.
