Amit Shah Inaugurates Startup Conclave 2025, Showcasing India's Innovative Future

Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Entrepreneur Conclave 2025 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar, with his closing address reflecting India's innovative future. The two-day event, themed 'Innovate, Elevate, Accelerate', aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of transforming ideas into enterprises.

Gujarat, now a hub for entrepreneurs, hosted the conclave that attracted 2,500 startups, including several unicorns, in 2023. This year, over 1,000 startups and 5,000 innovators gathered, joined by 100 industry mentors, 50-plus venture funds, and policymakers. The event showcased 170+ startups from 20 states, spanning sectors like agritech, defence, renewable energy, and healthcare.

India's startup ecosystem has flourished since 2014, growing from fewer than 500 startups to over 100 unicorns and lakhs of registered ventures today. This progress is evident in India's rise from 91st to 38th in the Global Innovation Index ranking. The conclave aims to facilitate 50 MoUs between startups, investors, and financial institutions, along with funding cheques and Letters of Intent.

The Entrepreneur Conclave 2025, with its impressive turnout and ambitious goals, underscores India's commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship. As India continues to climb the Global Innovation Index, events like these promise a bright future for the country's startup ecosystem.
