AGiL Launches Mentorship Project in Kassel for Young People
AGiL, a job support organization, is launching a mentorship project in Kassel city and region. The project, funded by the Hessian Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration, seeks experienced volunteers to guide young people, often with migration or refugee backgrounds, as they transition from school to work.
Volunteers will provide career orientation, application writing, internship and apprenticeship searches, and interview preparation. The project coordinator, Brigitte Vogler, can be reached at 0561-1003 1275 or [email protected] for more information. Volunteers receive compensation for their expenses and are integrated into a well-organized, professionally supported network. AGiL offers regular meetings, networking events, and training to support volunteers.
The project aims to continue mentorship even after an apprentice begins their job. Professionals with backgrounds in career counseling, education, social work, and human resources are particularly encouraged to apply.
